Team Report (Volume 2)

O-E-A Splits with A & R..

Scott Wilson, visibly still upset from the previous weeks shenanigans, bolted from first base like a 9 ton garbage truck rolling backwards up hill with no intentions of stopping at second on a hard hit ground ball to right field. In what was the most beautiful head first slide I have seen in 50 some odd years. Scott made it a close play, except, his slide stopped short about 6 inches short of the 3rd base bag! Rumors going around suggest that Wilson’s agent (Callme Forslowones) has been putting out some feelers to see if any other teams would be interested in his clients services. I asked Hall of Fame Coach Virgil Bohlen Jr. for his reaction to the rumors: “Did you see him run from first to third? I’ll bet his agents phone is ringing off the hook!”

In other news, with more players reporting to camp look for Hall of Fame Coach Virgil Bohlen Jr. to start applying more pressure for his team to perform at the level they are capable of. “Each week it's a different excuse, I am not listening to excuses anymore! You wanna play for me you better start buying some beer!!” Dan Wingler and Mark Douglas join up with the team this week for the remainder of the year so that should bring some added pop to the line-up (however the coach is looking for beer not pop).
